Scott Colvin, Managing Director

 

Scott Colvin founded Blackpeak Capital after a 17 year career in investment banking and

management consulting spanning Australia, Asia and Europe. Prior to founding Blackpeak Capital,

 Scott held senior investment banking positions with Credit Suisse and Wilson HTM Investment Group.

Most recently Scott was Head of Asia (ex Australia) Metals & Mining InvestmentBanking with

Credit Suisse.

Scott is an experienced investment banker who has extensive deal experience having executed

more than 45 transactions across a variety of industries and incorporating the full suite of investment

banking products (M&A and financing alternatives across the capital structure). Scott has

particularly strong experience in public market takeovers and equity capital markets transactions.

Scott also has a background in the technology sector which has been a focus area since the

inception of blackpeak capital.

• Executive Masters of Business Administration - Australian Graduate School of Management

   (distinction average)

• Masters in Finance - majoring in Corporate Finance, London Business School (distinction average)

• Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment – majoring in Corporate Finance, Financial

   Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) (distinction average)

• Bachelor of Commerce - majoring in economics and finance, University of New South Wales

   (distinction average, won Australian Institute of Banking and Finance Prize)
